Sandra's irreverential attitude towards family is garnered from her
own chaotic life where she balances motherhood, career and taxi-service
for three teenagers. She has been happily married to an airline pilot
for a heck of a long time and, like her squinkers characters, she
lives in a big house in the country near the ocean and the mountains;
so far she has maintained enough sanity not to turn it into a bed
breakfast. Sandra has been fiddling with her cartoon strip for almost
ten years now, and has produced it as a regular daily feature for the
web and a few small newspapers for over five years. She also illustrates an
occasional children's book and is hoping to learn enough Flash animation to
produce some fun and entertaining e-cards.

Sandra divides her time between the daily squinkers cartoon, learning Flash,
painting, teaching art, and general teenager/pet maintenance. She hopes to
never have to go back to an advertising career and would someday like
to spend most of her days cartooning, sculpting and learning to play
ten or fifteen musical instruments. Oh, and independent wealth would
be nice too.
