Passs Bio of Michael Burke

Bio Of Michael Burke

So, a bio, huh? How about if I give you the salient points and you attempt to make something both interesting and amusing out of it, whilst hinting that Clint Eastwood in his prime would?ve been perfectly cast as the leading role in Bear Facts - the Movie Spectacular! in which our hero:
Serves sangers at Seaworld by day and tends bar by night, saving up for that first guitar;
Waits on tables by day (silver service, by gum) and delivers pizza by night, saving up for that first amplifier;
Carries bags in a swank Surfers hotel, saving for that guitar pick;
Plays lead guitar and sings (at the end of the night when the crowd is drunk) in the Statik Bats for some years, touring the length of our eastern seaboard... repeatedly;
Finally makes his mother happy by landing a ?real job? in a music shop, selling guitars by day and teaching folk to play ?em by night;
Drives a cab (by day and  by night - looong hours);
Attempts still photography (photo-finish at the races) and non-still photography (projectionist at the movies) before moving to the Sunshine Coast and having the ultimate swipe at high art... Yes, cartooooning!
Our hero doesn?t smoke or drink (not  a religious zealot, in case you?re wondering) or own a car - the true starving artist. Starving except for brief periods of travel to exotic locales like Singapore, London, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden and, of course, Tasmania. How does he do it? Enter the girlfriend of 20 years (friends for 2 years before that), and now, long-suffering wife. Jo has a PhD in psychology... well, she?d need it, wouldn?t she? Who could play her in the movie? Someone with real curves and  brains. Which leaves out anyone in Hollywood.
Bear Facts is now published in 16 Australian newspapers, 2 Asian papers, 2 Swedish comics, and is starting to ?receive interest? from overseas, i.e. ?Who?s this idiot??
Most asked question (after ?Are you related to Clint Eastwood??): ?Where do you get your groceries, um, I mean, ideas??
Answer : (With bewildered shrug) ?They just bubble up from nowhere.? Really. Don?t blame me.
